Martyrs’ families to get allowance monthly allowance



RAJBIRAJ: The Rajbiraj Municipality in Saptari district has begun providing monthly allowance of Rs 5,100 each to the families of those who lost their lives in various movements.

The families of the martyrs will be provided Rs 5,100 monthly in a bid to support in subsistence of the martyrs’ family members. The municipal assembly took the decision to this effect for the fiscal year, 2022/23.

There are 300 beneficiaries in the municipality, shared chief administrator Binaya Kumar Sonu.

The families of the martyrs ought to submit ‘martyrs certificate’, a copy of citizenship identity card, document verifying relationship and recommendation letter from the concerned local ward offices, among others to be entitled for the allowance.

The allowance is being distributed since the beginning of the current fiscal year, said Acting Mayor Isarat Parbin.
