FIFA World Cup Morocco locking horns with Croatia for third place



KATHMANDU: Morocco will lock horns with Croatia in the World Cup for the third-place play-off tonight.

Croatia was beaten by Argentina in their semi-final, while Morocco lost to France in the other semi-final.

The third-place play-off is taking place tonight at Khalifa International Stadium, Qatar.

Croatia’s quest for a World Cup title ended against Argentina in the semi-finals.

Croatia has qualified for all but one of the World Cup tournaments.

Meanwhile, Morocco has qualified for the World Cup on six occasions but had never made it past the Round of 16 until this tournament.
