Death toll from dengue climbs to 48



KATHMANDU: A total of 48 people have died of dengue so far in the country.

A total of 40,029 people have been infected since the last outbreak in July, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.

Dengue has been reported in all the 77 districts of the country.

Meanwhile, 46 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the last 24 hours. This was revealed in 2,287 samples tested in various laboratories across the country.

The number of active cases of COVID-19 is 711.

So far 12,018 people have lost their lives due to corona virus infection. Also today, 23,972 people have been vaccinated against COVID-19.
