Govt declares Tuesday holiday to mourn the demise of centenarian Joshi



KATHMANDU: The government has announced a public holiday on Tuesday to mourn the demise of centenarian Satya Mohan Joshi.

The Home Ministry on Monday issued a press statement announcing that the government has decided to give a public holiday on Tuesday.

During this period, the government offices, public institutions and other diplomatic offices will remain closed.

Joshi breathed his last on Thursday at the age of 103.
