Parliament session prorogued: Speaker reads out President’s letter to this effect



KATHMANDU: The current session of the House of Representatives has come to an end with a new parliament set to be elected on November 20.

President Bidya Devi Bhandari prorogued the current session of the House of Representatives from midnight tonight as per the recommendation of the Council of Ministers.

Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota read out the President’s letter announcing the end of the Parliament session at the House of Representatives meeting on Saturday.

The top leaders of the party addressed the meeting of the House of Representatives on Saturday.

Speaker Sapkota also presented the details of the work of the House of Representatives.
