Balen widens lead in Kathmandu mayoral race

Balen: 10,046, Sthapit: 5,314, Sirjana: 4,641



KATHMANDU: The counting of votes is underway in Kathmandu Metropolitan City. So far, 24,200 votes have been counted.

According to the latest results, independent candidate Balen Sah has maintained his lead with 10,046 votes. CPN-UML candidate Keshav Sthapit has received less than half of Balen’s votes. He has received 5,314 votes.

Similarly, Nepali Congress candidate Sirjana Singh got 4,641 votes.
