NC leader Shahi elected Chamunda Bindrasaini mayor



KATHMANDU: Ganesh Kumar Shahi of Nepali Congress (NC) has been elected as the mayor of Chamunda Bindrasaini municipality of Dailekh.

While Shahi got 4,070 votes, his nearest rival Surya Bahadur Shahi of CPN-UML got 3,992 votes.

Similarly, Mansara Kumari Sharma of NC has won the election with 4,038 votes.

Her closest rival, Nanda Kumari Bista of the UML, obtained 3996 votes.
