Meeting of ruling parties’ election preparation and monitoring panel takes place



KATHMANDU: A meeting of the ruling coalition’s election preparation and monitoring committee has taken place in Baluwatar on Sunday.

The meeting of the committee led by Nepali Congress (NC) leader Ram Chandra Poudel took place at Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar Sunday afternoon.

The meeting was to analyze the distribution of six metropolitan cities and 11 sub-metropolitan cities among the coalition partners, and submit a report to top leaders of the alliance.

Similarly, a meeting of the ruling coalition’s top leaders will decide the allocation of metropolis and sub-metropolis on Monday on the basis of the report received from the election preparation and monitoring committee.
