Electoral alliance as per need: NC general secretary

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) general secretary Bishwa Prakash Sharma has said his party would forge alliance in the local level elections as per the need.

The NC general secretary said his party would go for alliance in the local level polls by considering the local context and needs.

“NC will forge alliance in view of the local needs,” according to Sharma. He also asked the political parties in the alliance not to expect more seats than their capacity adding that the NC was not a weak political force.

Likewise, Sharma shared that the rumours spread on people against the US government’s grant assistance MCC should be dissected and argued that NC won’t accept any of the country’s military strategy in Nepal.

Similarly, NC leader and former minister Bhimsen Das Pradhan asked the youths to work to make NC the single largest force in the upcoming polls adding that alliance will not take place in pressure.
