Police tighten traffic rules, arrest 163 vehicles during Holi

KATHMANDU: Traffic Police have taken action against 163 vehicles for violating traffic rules during the Holi festival.

Spokesperson of the Traffic Police Division, Kathmandu Sanjeev Sharma said these vehicles were apprehended on the charge of drunk driving.

Until the posting of this news, police have arrested 104 motorcycles and 59 four-wheelers.

SP Sharma said they will take action against those who drive vehicles under the influence of alcohol or without wearing helmets.

Such vehicles, if found, will be kept under control throughout the day as part of action.
