No new coronavirus cases recorded in past 24 hours, active cases 14



KATHMANDU: Hinting at the decline of cases of coronavirus in Nepal lately, the country recorded no new case of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Friday.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 846 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Of the confirmed cases, 159 were tested through RT-PCR method and 687 through Antigen method.

Currently, there are 14 active cases in the country as one infected patient recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus-related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll stands at 12,019 to date.
