POKHARA: The Nepali Army (NA) has won gold in Sepaktakraw in men’s and women’s double under the ongoing Ninth National Games 2079 BS.
In the match at Kawasoti in East Nawalparasi, the NA departmental team beat Province 1 in straight sets 2-0 to win the gold medal in the men’s double. Anil Jarghamagar, Roshan Tamang and Dipesh Jung Thapa contributed by winning silver for Province 1.
The Bagmati Province secures the bronze medal.
In the women’s double, the departmental team Army won gold by defeating Bagmati Province in straight 2-0 sets.
Chanda Chaudhary, Sumina Dangol and Sommaya Thapa won gold for Army in the women’s double while the Baghmati won silver and Gandaki won bronze.
