Paragliding flights operating across country halted until further notice



KATHMANDU: The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has directed the concerned authorities to halt paragliding flights operating across the country until further notice following the death of a player in a paragliding accident during the Ninth National Games being held in Pokhara on Sunday.

CAAN Spokesperson Jagannath Niraula said that the authority has directed the concerned authorities to stop the paragliding flights until further notice.

Niraula said that the CAAN decided to stop the flights to further manage the adventure sport.
