KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has said the nation has lost its guardian with the demise of noted litterateur and culture expert Satya Mohan Joshi.

Terming Joshi as a relentless contributor to the Nepali art, language and culture, the Head-of-the-State said she is saddened by the death of Joshi.

His active and meaningful live was always an inspiration for all of us, the President said on twitter.

Joshi passed away at KIST Medical College Hospital at Gwarko, Lalitpur this morning. He was 103.
