PM Deuba grieves over Joshi’s demise



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has expressed grief over the passing of the Bangmaya Shatabdi Purush, Satya Mohan Joshi. He died at the age of 103 while undergoing treatment at KIST Medical College, Gwarko, Lalitpur this morning.

PM Deuba took to his twitter account to express his profound sorrow over the centenarian scholar’s demise.

“I am deeply grieved by Joshi’s death. I pray for eternal peace of the departed soul and express my condolences to the grief-stricken family members,” the PM wrote in his twitter post.

Prime Minister Deuba has also stated that the State shall ever remember Joshi’s contribution in the field of Nepali culture.
