Nepal sees 110 new coronavirus cases, one death in past 24 hours



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 110 new cases of coronavirus and one death in the past 24 hours as of Friday.

Of the confirmed cases, 60 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 50 through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 3,827 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Of them, 1,752 samples were tested through RT-PCR and 2,075 through the Antigen method.

Currently, there are 2,062 active cases in the country as 126 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

One coronavirus related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and with this, the COVID-19 death toll in the reaches 12,016 to date.
