Mayor Balen’s question to Prachanda: Is it ethical for you to stay in the house of a contractor who did not fulfil commitments?

KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) Mayor Balendra Sah has made stringent comments on Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda.

Sah, taking to social media, has come down heavily on Prachanda for staying like a “bodyguard” in the house of the contractor who has failed to complete the Kakani road.

Mayor Balen has said, “Mr. Prachanda, how is it possible to carry garbage on a pathetic road, which has been in a dilapidated condition for the last eight years.”

“With what moral do you say that you are building the country?” he has asked.

Prachanda is staying in the house of contractor Sharada Prasad Adhikari in Khumaltar.

In the past, Prachanda has been criticized for taking shelter in the house of a contractor who has stalled many development projects.
