Impeachment proceedings against CJ Rana finally to begin after six months



KATHMANDU: The impeachment proceedings against Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher Rana is set to finally begin after six months since the motion was registered in the House of Representatives.

The first meeting of the Impeachment Recommendation Committee has been called for 11:30 on Wednesday (tomorrow).

The impeachment recommendation committee is to begin the investigation process.

Secretary of the Impeachment Recommendation Committee Laxmi Gautam said that the meeting to be held tomorrow would pick the a chairman and determine the procedures of the committee.
