Disposal of cases by Jumla High Court increases



JUMLA: The High Court Surkhet Jumla bench has disposed of more cases than the target this year.

The data is until the end of the current financial year 2021/22, i.e. July 15.

The court had set a target of 67 percent of cases to be cleared but 125.55 percent of cases have been disposed of, including the backlog of cases from the previous year.

According to court sources, 231 cases were disposed of out of the target of 180 cases by the end of the current financial year.

The data was shared at a press meet held here on Friday.

Chief Judge Srimanakumar Gautam of the High Court Surkhet Jumla Bench shared that the court has worked efficiently this year to exceed its target of case disposal.
