Driver dies as tipper falls off a bridge on Aabukhaireni-Muglin road

MUGLIN: One person died when a tipper fell into a river from a bridge on the Aanbukhaireni-Muglin road section of Tanahu under Prithvi Highway this morning.

The tipper fell into the river on Thursday morning from a bridge near the Marsyangdi Hydropower Power House.

The deceased has been identified as Ram Bahadur Damai, 47, of Myagde-6 of Tanahu.

The tipper (Ga 1 Ka 4469) heading towards Aabukhaireni from Muglin fell from the bridge and plunged into the river at around 4.30 this morning.

The driver, who was critically injured in the accident, was taken to Chitwan-based Medical College for treatment where he was pronounced dead.
