UML providing training to local-level representatives from today



KATHMANDU: Main opposition party, CPN-UML, is providing two-day training and orientation to its recently-elected local-level representatives from today.

According to the UML Central Office, the training program will begin at the Rastriya Sabha Griha at Bhrikutimanda in Kathmandu from 11 am today.

Party Chairman KP Oli is scheduled to inaugurate the training program.

Deputy Chief of the Central Publicity Department, Bishnu Rijal, informed that the training will be given to the people’s representatives for two days on Thursday and Friday.

The training will be imparted on behalf of the Central Party School Department of the CPN-UML.

UML has stated that the people’s representatives will be given training on the current political situation as well as local-level rights, jurisdiction, and relationships between the people’s representatives and the party, among others.
