NEPSE continues the downtrend, declines by 19.65 points Wednesday



KATHMANDU: The stock market has started to decline again. The market, which had improved on the first and second day of the week, has started declining again from yesterday.

According to the Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE), the market has declined by 19.65 points today. With the market declining by 0.74 percent, the NEPSE index has come down to 2631.32 points.

A total of 4,967,471 shares of 231 companies were traded at a turnover of Rs 2.57 billion today. With the decline in NEPSE, the transaction amount has also shrunk Wednesday.

On the day of the market downturn, hotels group went green by 66.66 points, non-life insurance by 77.23 and mutual funds by 0 points. The Other group declined the most today. It declined by 57.13 points.

Today, investors in Emerging Nepa Limited have earned the highest profit of 9.98 percent, while investors in United Idimardi Hydro have incurred the highest loss of 4.92 percent.
