Business Advisory Committee meeting underway

KATHMANDU: A Business Advisory Committee (BAC) meeting has started prior to the meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR).

Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota has called the BAC meeting to  dwell on the endorsement of the MCC and its possibility of inclusion in today’s agenda items of the parliament.

The HoR meeting is taking place at 1 pm today.

Nepali Congress (NC) President and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba on Tuesday urged Speaker Sapkota to call a BAC meeting and include the MCC as an agenda of the HoR meeting.

NC in its parliamentary party (PP) meeting on Tuesday had decided to table the MCC in the House meeting.

However, the agenda item unveiled by the federal parliament secretariat yesterday does not include MCC.
