Maoist Center holding PP meeting today

To dwell on MCC



KATHMANDU: The CPN (Maoist Center) has called a meeting of the parliamentary party (PP) at 10 am today to discuss the United States grant Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).

Maoist Chief Whip Dev Gurung said the Maoist Center would form an opinion on MCC at the PP meeting and the same opinion would be forwarded at the meeting of the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) of the parliament.

A meeting of the House BAC has been convened at 11:30 am at Shankar Hall of the parliament building in New Baneshwor on Wednesday.

The Nepali Congress PP meeting held Tuesday decided to make MCC an agenda of the House yesterday  and urged ruling coalition partners to cooperate on the issue.

The Maoist Center’s PP meeting is taking place following the NC meeting Tuesday.
