Nepal hands over aid materials to Kabul

KATHMANDU: Nepal has handed over humanitarian aid to Afghanistan on Sunday.

According to Sewa Lamsal, the spokesperson at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nepali officials handed over the aid to the UN delegation in Kabul.

Earlier, the Nepali delegation left for Kabul this morning on Himalayan Airlines Flight No. HA-5931 carrying 9,715 kg of food, clothes and other relief items.

Foreign Minister Narayan Khadka bade farewell to the Nepali team including spokesperson Lamsal at Tribhuvan Airport. Nepali officials will return home today.
