World Cup: France defeats Morocco, will face Argentina in final

KATHMANDU: France defeated Morocco to enter the final of the World Cup 2022, with Theo Hernández’s goal in the fifth minute sparking Les Bleus a 2-0 win.

France will play for the title on Sunday while Morocco will take on Croatia in the third-place game.

France had a grip on the match from the start as Theo Hernandez scored a goal within five seconds of the first half putting France in the lead.

In the second half, substitute Kolo Muani scored his first international goal in just 44 seconds after coming on as a substitute.

France doubled their lead with just 10 minutes remaining in the regulation time and ensured a win against Morocco.
