Nepal sees 14 new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 14 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Tuesday.

Of the confirmed cases, 12 were detected through the RT-PCR method and two through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 1,330 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Out of the total samples, 864 were tested through RT-PCR method and 466 through Antigen method.

Currently, there are 491 active cases in the country as 20 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus-related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll stands at 12,019 to date.
