Hornet sting kills one, injures two in Khotang



KHOTANG: A person died and two others have sustained injuries due hornet sting in Khotang district.

The deceased has been identified as Binod Pariyar, 26, of Diktel Rupakot Majhuwagadhi municipality-8 Similarly, Sharmila Nepali, 25, and Nain Singh Darji, 72, were injured in the same incident.

The hornet stung them on Friday at a time when they were walking on the road. Pariyar died on the spot in the incident, said police.

Chief of the District Police Office, Khotang, Deputy Superintendent of Police Manjil Makarung, said both the injured are receiving treatment at the District Hospital Khotang and their condition is normal.

Pariyar was differently abled person.
