RPP entrusts Chair Lingden with sole authority to decide on electoral strategy



KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has given full powers to its Chairman Rajendra Lingden to decide on electoral strategy in the General Elections slated for November 20.

RPP Spokesperson Mohan Shrestha said party’s Central Performance Committee meeting held on Monday gave Lingden the sole authority to decide on alliances, coordination or cooperation with other parties in the November elections.

Similarly, the meeting also formed the Central Election Mobilization Committee and the Parliamentary Committee under Lingden.

For the preparation of the election manifesto, the party has formed another panel comprising Prof. Dr. Geethabhakta Joshi as coordinator, Sagunsundar Lawati, Ramananda Neupane, Prof. Dr. Jayantanath Khanal and associate professor Hemraj Karki as members.
