KATHMANDU: All the seven state governments are unveiling the budget for the fiscal year 2079/80 BS today.
As per the constitutional provision, the state government has to present the budget on June 15.
Meanwhile, all seven state governments have unveiled their policy and programs.
The Minister of Economic Affairs and Planning is scheduled to present the budget in the State Assembly today.
The state governments have said that they have prepared the budget by setting priorities according to their respective states.
The state government will have to bring the budget based on the ceiling set by the federal government’s budget.
They have prioritized agriculture, tourism, roads, drinking water, and employment in the budget.
