NC candidate wins Bharatpur-1, Chitwan

CHITWAN:  Keshav Maharjan of Nepali Congress has been elected as the ward chairman of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-1.

He has received 1,397 votes from the coalition. His nearest rival  CPN-UML candidate Shukra Kumar Shrestha got 1,313 votes.

UML candidates have won the three members and NC two including the Ward Chairman in Bharatpur-1.

NC had won the Bharatpur-1 in the 2017 election as well.
