DAMAK: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) candidate Ram Thapa is leading in Damak Municipality of Jhapa.
Thapa has overtaken UML candidate Geeta Adhikari.
While Thapa has got 1,968 votes, UML candidate Adhikari has got 1,940 votes.
Likewise, deputy-mayoral candidate of Nepali Congress Regina Bhattarai has got 1,931 votes and UML’s Ambika Prasad Khanal has got 1,756 votes.
So far, 4,541 votes have been counted in Damak.
