KATHMANDU: As many as 1.9 million Demat accounts were opened in the year 2078 BS.
According to the statistics maintained by the Central Depository Service and Clearing (CDSC), the number of Demat accounts reached 5,121,862 as of April 13, 2022.
The Demat accounts were 3,200,072 till April 13, 2021.
