Saudi Arabia’s FM Prince Faisal pays courtesy call on PM Deuba



KATHMANDU: Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud, who is on a visit to Nepal, met with Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba on Tuesday.

Foreign Minister Saud had a courtesy meeting with Prime Minister Deuba at the PM’s official residence, Baluwatar.

Besides, he also held bilateral talks with Nepal’s Foreign Minister Narayan Khadka today.

Meanwhile, Nepal and Saudi Arabia signed an agreement to enhance mutual cooperation between the two countries on Tuesday.

This agreement will pave the way for cooperation between Nepal and Saudi Arabia in the fields of communication, education, culture, industry and sports.

Saudi Arabia is a major destination country for Nepali workers. As many as four lakh Nepalis are already employed in Saudi Arabia.

Foreign Minister Saud arrived in Kathmandu on Monday. He is scheduled to return home today itself.
