Nepal taking on India in SAFF U-18 Women’s C’ship today



KATHMANDU: Nepal is taking on India in the SAFF U-18 Women’s Championship in Jamsedpur of India today.

The match will begin at 7:15 pm.

Nepal wants to make a flying start by defeating host India. But it is not a piece of cake for Nepal clinch victory over India.

“It is not so easy for Nepal to win host India as it is a tough team,” said Nepal’s coach Bhakta Raj Labat.

Nepal will play a second match with Bangladesh on March 17, third match with India on March 21 and the last match with Bangladesh on March 23.

Nepal, India and Bangladesh are participating in the tournament to be played on a round-robin format.

The championship will last until March 25.
