Maoist Center to convene SC meeting on Wednesday



KATHMANDU: CPN (Maoist Center) has called a Standing Committee (SC) meeting on Wednesday.

According to Maoist Center’s Chief Whip Dev Gurung, the SC meeting will be held prior to the meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR). The meeting dwell on the contemporary issues including the MCC, said Gurung.

It is learnt that the ruling alliance – Nepali Congress, CPN (Unified Socialist) and Maoist Center will float the agenda items including impeachment motion against Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher Rana, the US government’s grant assistance MCC for endorsement in the parliament tomorrow.
