Unified Socialist calls SC meeting on Saturday



KATHMANDU: CPN (Unified Socialist) has called a Standing Committee (SC) meeting on Saturday.

A Standing Committee meeting has been called for February 19, informed Jagannath Khatiwada, the chief of the publicity department of the party.

The meeting is said to dwell on MCC, impeachment motion against Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher Rana and the upcoming local level elections.

Unified Socialist Party led by Madhav Kumar Nepal has been staging demonstrations saying that MCC should not be endorsed without amendment.
