MCC will be tabled in Parliament tomorrow, says Law Minister Badu



KATHMANDU: Law Minister Dilendra Prasad Badu has said that the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) Compact will be tabled in tomorrow’s session of the Parliament.

“The Compact will probably be tabled in the House tomorrow,” he told reporters on Tuesday.

According to Minister Badu, former Finance Minister Dr. Ram Sharan Mahat had briefed the Nepali Congress lawmakers about the MCC.

A meeting of the Congress parliamentary party is underway to take a necessary decision on the political situation and the MCC after the ruling coalition filed an impeachment against Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher Rana.
