UML leader Kafle attacked in Gorkha



GORKHA: CPN-UML leader Hari Kafle has been assaulted in Changli of Gorkha district.

According to the police, the Kafle was attacked during a dispute while having dinner at the Mango Hotel in Palungtar Municipality Ward No. 2 on Sunday.

There was a scuffle between two factions while they were having dinner.

“One person has been injured in the fight,” Police Office Gorkha DSP Leelaraj Lamichhane said.

Police have arrested Ram Sapkota and Ajit Chhetri for their involvement in the incident.

Police said that they have initiated an investigation into the incident.

Kafle, who was injured in the incident, was participating in the election program of Abdus Mian, the candidate for Gorkha-2 from CPN-UML.
