Pushpa Bhusal files candidacy for Dy Speaker from ruling coalition

KATHMANDU: Pushpa Bhusal of the Nepali Congress (NC) has registered her nomination from the ruling coalition for the vacant post of Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives.

Bhusal registered her nomination with the support of Dev Prasad Gurung of the Maoist Center and Laxmi Kumari Chaudhary of the Unified Socialist Party on Thursday.

Likewise, main opposition CPN-UML is fielding its lawmaker Bidya Bhattarai to the vacant post of Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives.
