Independent mayoral candidate Balen Shah still taking the lead in KMC



KATHMANDU: Independent mayoral candidate Balen Shah is still taking an initial lead in the vote counting in Kathmandu Metropolis.

Out of the 325 votes counted so far, Balen Shah is leading the count with 114 votes followed by Nepali Congress candidate Sirjana Singh with 81 votes.

Likewise, CPN-UML candidate Keshav Sthapit is in the third position with 47 votes.
