PM Deuba alleges UML leader Rawal for creating fuss over MCC

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister (PM) Sher Bahadur Deuba has alleged CPN-UML leader Bhim Rawal for protesting the ratification of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) by the parliament.

Speaking at a program in Nuwakot on Monday, PM Deuba reminded the UML leaders that the MCC Compact was tabled in the parliament when KP Oli was the Prime Minister.

Expressing dissatisfaction with UML lawmaker Rawal, Prime Minister Deuba said that those who were pushing for MCC’s passage while in power have no meaning to protest now.

“I can’t understand why Bhim Rawal is protesting MCC?” PM Deuba asked, saying that Rawal was the Defense Minister then.
