Two killed, 28 injured in Sindhuli tipper mishap

SINDHULI: Two people have died and 28 others sustained injuries after a tipper ferrying wedding attendants met with an accident in Dudhauli municipality in Sindhuli.

The accident took place at Thakurkhola when an ill-fated tipper, Na 3 Kha 7490, met with an accident while it was heading to Katari of Udayapur from Duhauli municipality-5, Sirthauli.

The deceased have been identified as Dipendra Kunwar,19, and Ajaya Danuwar, 24, of Katari municipality-2, said District Police Office, Sindhuli.

Four critically injured have been taken to TU Teaching hospital for treatment, informed DSP Manoj Kumar Lama, Sindhuli.
