‘All-side support a must for enhancement of educational quality’

KARNALI: Minister for Social Development of Karnali Province, Yagya Bahadur Budha Chhetri called for support from all sides for enhancing educational quality in community schools.

Laying the foundation stone of Prabhat Secondary School in Bheriganga Municipality-10 of Surkhet on Sunday, Minster Chhetri said it was not apt to raise question on educational quality by merely blaming the teachers.

“Other stakeholders cannot abstain from the responsibility by only putting blame on teachers”, the minister said, adding, “All sides have their defined responsibilities. The community school can be developed as a model if the given responsibilities are realized”.

Bheriganga Mayor Bhupendra Bahadur Chand expressed happiness over the development works carried out under the leadership of province government and expected continued cooperation in coming days.

On the occasion, Bheriganga Deputy Mayor Renu Acharya, ward chairperson Man Bahadur Budha and School Management Committee Chair Man Bahadur Pun, among others had delivered their best wishes speech.

Telecom begins ‘NT TV service’ in Karnali

The Nepal Telecom has begun its IP TV service through Fiber to The Home (FTTH) on the brand of NT TV for the first time in Karnali Province.

The Surkhet-based Nepal Telecom office that had been providing voice and data through FTTH service has also begun delivering NT TV service from Birendranagar.

Opening the NT TV service, Director at Telecom Karnali Province Directorate, Ananta Prakash Mallik said they made it happen to deliver voice, internet and television service through a single wire. “This is effective service for the users as they can receive triple play service (voice, high speed internet, IP TV and video) through optical fiber.
