FONIJ postpones nat’l conference



KATHMANDU: The national conference of the Federation of Nepalese Indigenous Journalists (FONIJ) has been postponed.

The national conference slated for January 21 at Sauraha, Chitwan has been deferred by a month, informed Manoj Gharti, the general secretary of the organization.

A virtual meeting of the FONIJ federal committee Thursday evening took a decision to this effect in view of the increasing cases of COVID-19 in the country, of late.

The national conference will be held on February 19 if the infections subside, said Gharti.
