Nepal sees two new coronavirus cases in 24 hours, active cases confine to 17



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of two new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Tuesday.

The confirmed two cases was detected through the RT-PCR method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 1,604 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Of the confirmed cases, 387 were tested through RT-PCR method and 1217 through Antigen method.

Currently, there are 17 active cases in the country as 10 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus-related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll stands at 12,019 to date.
