Bike rider killed in Bhaktapur accident

BHAKTAPUR: One person died after a car and a bike collided in Bhaktapur last night.

Raju Pandey, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Bhaktapur, said Sandeep Basnet of Kavre Panchkhal Municipality died when a bike and a car collided in Sallaghari.

According to him, the car (Ba 6 Ch 815) heading from Sallaghari from Koteshwar collided with a bike (28 P 7392) coming from the opposite direction.

“Basnet died at Iwamura Hospital during treatment,” police said.

The police said that the driver has been detained along with the car.
