Chinese Ambassador holds farewell meeting with Home Minister Khand



KATHMANDU: Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Hou Yanqi had a farewell meeting with Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand.

The outgoing Chinese ambassador held a courtesy farewell meeting with the Home Minister at the Ministry of Home Affairs at Singha Durbar on Friday.

The farewell call dwelt on mutual relations between Nepal and China, exchange of cooperation and other issues.

Stating that Nepal and China shared multifaceted relations, Home Minister thanked the Chinese government, through Ambassador Yanqi, for China’s support to Nepal’s infrastructure development, natural disasters and the COVID pandemic.

Minister Khand also extended best wishes to Ambassador Yanqi for her new assignment.

In response, Ambassador Yanqi said China was ready to provide needful support and cooperation for Nepal’s development and progress.

She also wished for the success of the upcoming federal and provincial polls slated for November 20.
