Madhav Nepal-led Unified Socialist will not cross threshold of 3 pc votes: UML Chair Oli



KATHMANDU: CPN UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has claimed that Madhav Kumar Nepal-led Unified Socialist Party will not cross the minimum threshold.

Inaugurating a program in Pokhara on Tuesday, Oli said the Unified Socialist would not have active leaders and cadres till November 20 elections.

He said, “Note this: Madhav Nepal will not cross the threshold of 3 percent votes. However, do give him votes so that they would secure one seat.”

He charged that the Unified Socialist had no concrete ideology and its Chair Nepal is among those who are hell bent to ruin the country.

He also said that the Maoist movement would also fail.

Oli alleged that besides Maoist Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal and his family, nobody in the Maoist Center would enjoy benefits from various movements.
