Man arrested for murdering wife



BIRGUNJ: A man has been arrested on the charge of strangling his wife to death.

Dinesh Prasad Yadav,26, of Itiyahi in Birgunj Metropolitan City-23 was arrested for allegedly murdering his 23-year-old wife Pratima Kumari on Friday, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Prahlad Karki.

Further investigation into the incident is underway. The body has been sent to Narayani Hospital for an autopsy.

Pratima, a resident of Pakaha Mainpur Rural Municipality-6, Parsa, was married to Dinesh a year ago. Pratima’s parents have claimed that she was five months pregnant.
